In addition to corporate bookkeeping services, we specialize in corporate tax returns, personal tax returns, and tax planning and advising.

Tanya DUCHARME

President

Tanya Ducharme is an accomplished Corporate Financial Accountant with over 12 years of experience advising Canadian and International corporations.

A high-energy professional with extensive financial reporting and corporate taxation experience, Tanya is a motivated and resourceful team player adept in process improvement initiatives.

Tanya's focus on efficiency and integrity makes her a sought-after expert in financial reporting and tax planning, corporate filings, and personal tax matters. Her substantial corporate accounting experience makes Tanya a well-regarded expert on cash flow forecasting for capital investments and financing and on annual budget preparation.

A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Tanya completed her Securities/Options & Derivatives Licensing with the Canadian Securities Institute in 2001-2002.

Tanya founded Ducharme + Associates in 2006 and is an active voice in Ottawa's small business community.

Devin CAMPBELL

Senior Accountant

Devin is a graduate of SUNY Oswego, holding a Bachelors of Science (B.S) degree and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree, both with a concentration in Accounting.

After serving as an intern with D+A during the summers of 2016 through 2019, Devin accepted a full-time position with the company in 2020 , expanding his areas of focus into Corporate bookkeeping, software integration, and financial reporting. During his time at D+A, Devin has worked with companies both small and large, and has been placed into several accounting roles with these companies.

Devin was a member of the SUNY Oswego men's hockey during his time there and continues to stay involved in hockey by coaching the Carleton Place Canadians Jr. A team.

Jana ST-ONGE

Bookkeeper

Jana is an organized and detail-oriented professional who works from her virtual office in Long Sault, Ontario. She graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in a multidisciplinary program that included Accounting and Economics.

Before joining D+A, Jana spent many years working in the public sector in various administrative support roles where she developed an interest in financial services. She joined D+A in 2017 and is currently acting as a bookkeeper. Jana focuses on keeping client’s financial records up to date and accurate. Her duties include: organizing financial transactions in QuickBooks, reconciling banking accounts, and preparing financial information for reporting.

Jana is an active community volunteer, serving as an executive member of the SD&G Highland Dancing Association as Awards Coordinator.

She looks forward to learning new skills and working with clients to help support their efficient business operations so they can thrive and prosper.

Jocelyn VAILLANT

Personal Tax Specialist

Jocelyn is a graduate of the University of Ottawa with a bachelor’s degree (B.S) in Accounting. With over 9 years of experience servicing personal tax and bookkeeping clients, he offers a personalized service and has plenty of experience handling CRA requests.

Jocelyn’s focus is on efficiency and organization. He has a direct approach that revolves around being available to clients as much as possible. He believes that taking the time to educate clients will help them better understand their responsibilities. This, in turn, will reduce their stress and anxiety about their taxes.

Jocelyn has extensive experience reviewing prior-year tax returns to identify unclaimed refunds. These refunds arise from missed opportunities, such as pension splitting, medical expenses, and applying for the Disability Tax Credit.

Jocelyn was a member of the Canadian Reserves for over 8 years before focusing further on his career.
